Regional file. In Street Missions of Tapes no. 115; there is a place where an authentic and satately large house of Portuguese style of year 1750 lies. There the same essence of history hides, there, in which &quot is denominated; House of Palacios" , today totally recovered and recovered, we found deposited the original ones of letters of Vasconcellos Governor of year 1735, the Missal of the Chapel of Narbona, watercolors and lithographies of year 1839, and other documents that stand out like a true jewel. As far as the construction, everything, walls, ceiling, the thresholds of the doors and windows as well as tirantera, are original. We also find a hornacina, where Santo Patrono of the house was located.

The original documents of the 1720 in future are as samples in great display cabinets. Hung in one of its walls we found a copy of the Shield of the Departmental Capital City that represents the fights between Portugal and Spain. The same has a sun, the one of the May revolution; the Bird Fnix, resurging of ashes; eleven stars prepared in arcs representing the cities of the department; the tower – common to the shields of Spain and Portugal that the wolf has to a side and in the other the lion. The division of the quarters superiors and inferiors, represents the River of the Silver, in which the profile of the historical citadel of 1763 is based. Bordering it appears it the famous phrase of Virgilio: " With the spirit we will remove the hidden fire in the soul from piedra" , motto of the Honorary Commission of Reconstruction. Like original relic, it shows to us what it is used like " Room of Lectura" , as much their doors as walls are authentic. Between the important documentation that is lodged there, we emphasized a police file of the department, that includes from year 1876 to the 1898.
